Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42103814) dated (10/8/1442), concerning the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (26633 / P) and the date (9/20/1442 AH) Regarding the beauty products system issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 49) dated (6/18/1436), where samples of lip care products were collected and analyzed, the first product was named "NITRQ BEAUTY Longlasting Lipgloss" and the second product was "NITRQ BEAUTY Lip STICK" High content of lead and arsenic exceeded the permissible limit as an impurity in the Regulation of Safety Requirements for Cosmetics and Personal Care No. (SFDA.CO/GSO 1943: 2016) and since exposure to high levels of lead and arsenic may cause health risks to the consumer.
Accordingly, the Council hopes that all establishments that engage in the activity of trading cosmetic products will prevent the sale of the products whose data are shown in this facility and return them to their suppliers, and the importers and distributors of the products must withdraw them from the sales outlets and warehouses and coordinate with the authority - the operations sector - to destroy them to avoid penalties against them.
